Arsenal Top Chelsea 2-1 to Lift the FA Cup

Trossard and Odegaard Score for Gunners

Havertz Goal Not Enough for Blues

Arsenal lifted the FA Cup for the 14th time after defeating Chelsea 2-1 in a thrilling final at Wembley Stadium. Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard scored for the Gunners, while Kai Havertz's late goal proved to be a consolation for Chelsea.

Trossard gave Arsenal the lead in the 24th minute with a superb strike into the top corner. The Belgian forward received the ball from Bukayo Saka on the left flank and drove into the Chelsea area before unleashing an unstoppable shot past Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Chelsea came close to equalising just before half-time, but Mason Mount's shot was well saved by Aaron Ramsdale. The Blues continued to press after the break, but Arsenal defended resolutely and looked dangerous on the counter-attack.

Odegaard doubled Arsenal's lead in the 76th minute with a clinical finish inside the area. The Norwegian midfielder was played in by Granit Xhaka and coolly slotted the ball past Arrizabalaga.

Havertz pulled a goal back for Chelsea in the 89th minute, but it was too little too late for the Blues. The German forward headed home a cross from Hakim Ziyech, but Arsenal held on to secure their first FA Cup triumph since 2017.

The victory was a special moment for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who has now won a major trophy in his first full season in charge of the club. Arteta dedicated the win to the club's supporters and thanked them for their unwavering support throughout a challenging season.

The FA Cup triumph is a major boost for Arsenal, who finished fifth in the Premier League this season. The Gunners will now be looking to build on this success and challenge for more trophies next season.
